Memorial Day 2009

I know I should have posted these earlier. Memorial Day was May 25. I'm so behind time!

On Memorial Day in the United States we decorate the graves of those who served our country in past wars. Here my family went out to place flowers on my dad's grave.

Mr. Bob Buttons

Mr. Bob Buttons has simple pleasures: A few bites of Nine-Lives catfood, a nice seat and a view of the patio and back yard. Ah! life is grand.

Ghetto-Fab Brake Light

Adrianne and I were at a fast food drive through when we saw this "ghetto-fab" brake light and plate holder.
I said I would get one like it and embarrass her when I pick her up on campus.

French Quarter Mobile

I've been asked what's up with this car. It's a traveling mosaic in the French Quarters of New Orleans. The note on the side says that the owner has post cards for sale and that they'd appreciate donations. There's some of everything glued on this car including seashells and Mardi Gras beads.
