Portrait of my husband studying his notes before a sermon.
I was experimenting with the texture tools. I'm not fond of my background here but now I know what to do on the next one. It's fun to experiment with the tools and the brush tool really helped with the hair. I may go back in and make changes on this one although Mom Michael, my mother-in-law, loves it as it is.
I am a Christian mom of a great but very shy 28-year-old and a wife of a precious Christian man I met as we volunteered for Kairos Prison Ministry in south Louisiana. I am also an artist and teacher/specialist for children with visual impairments and a Children's Ministry teacher. I have 37 years of experience in education. I was a high school art teacher, an art and cultural enrichments/reading specialist for children ages 3 to 23 with visual impairments, a teacher for high school age/young adult deaf-blind students, a teacher for preemie-born preschool students with visual impairments, a teacher/specialist for children with visual impairments for preschool to high school students. I also have experience with children with orthopedic impairments, autism and learning differences--especially dyslexia/disgraphia. I'm a mom to 2 rescued cats: Mr. Bob Buttons, who was rescued from the abandoned home of an addict and Winston Henry who was a family surrender at a shelter. Eleven-year-old Bob, adopted us in February of 2009 and has his own blog, Facebook account and Twitter page.A few years later 5-year-old, 15-pound shelter rescued cat named Winston Henry came to us.
